Religion is not a hobby. It is the center of existence. It is life itself. It is bigger than the world, and the world is bigger than the secular culture.
We need to be upfront about that. We must resist all attempts to phrase the issue in terms of what circumstances we shall be allowed to speak under. Caesar does not own us. Only God does. Our orders are to speak. We cannot be silent. We cannot compromise the truth. The very fact that secular forces are asking us to be silent nowadays looks to me like a probable sign that we now have a good chance to be heard, and to make a difference, if we speak up.
