Found at Public Catholic: Approximately 20 Hindu militants burst into a Christian home and attacked the residents, a church leader and his family, and guests who were gathered there singing. The attackers used clubs to destroy belongings in the home, then began striking the church leader and his 12-year-old daughter. They then dragged the man and girl to a Hindu temple, smeared their faces with vermilion and forced their heads down before idols.
According to the article from Persecution.org, “Mission India’s Dave Stravers said …’This is a pretty typical thing; it happens quite often in India.’ ” Such attacks happen at least weekly.
