Hollywood may be the least credible source around, for any kind of information. Yet some Americans are so saturated with its messages that they forget not to listen when movie stars lecture the public on politics without understanding civics or economics or national security. If the big issues ever include Botox and press kits we’ll call the film industry’s top names for advice. Until then they are just like anyone else only more insulated form the world we live in and more distracted from it by activities most of us do not relate to.
